Interfaith Services
The Interfaith Council of Franklin County has worked with Cathedral in the Light and the Western Mass organization Faithwaze , as well as the Hampshire Interfaith Group, ION, to offer interfaith services for various occasions.
For many years, we have offered a Thanksgiving service and meal on the Greenfield Common. We have also gathered the housed and unhoused community for a Memorial service each December to honor those who have died without the benefit of service or community.
We hosted an interfaith service on November 2, the night before the 2020 Elections and then again January 19, the night before the 2021 Inauguration. We have also honored certain important national and local events by calling together the community to listen and learn and offer each other support. If you think the occasion calls for it, please contact the council and help us call the interfaith community together.
“We are not alone” Interfaith Council lifts spirits with its Thanksgiving dinner on the common.
